Espacio Rhonda was my first stage recital in Madrid. Produced by Ekada AC, an organization founded by Indian classical dancers of various styles in Spain, Ekada has been actively promoting Indian arts and culture in various cities throughout the country. Recognizing that classical dance is an amalgamation of various disciplines, Ekada AC also continues to offer classes in Indian mythology, arts and history. The performance in 2015 was the beginning of a beautiful relationship with Ekada and the lovely community of dancers. It was a very special experience for me to be there, not only to present rarely seen style of Odissi, but also to support the efforts of Ekada AC to promote Indian classical arts in Spain
