Drive East Festival

Drive East Festival is a master brainchild of dance artists/producers and founders of Navatman, Sridhar Shanmugham and Sahi Sambamoorthi, to recreate the Indian classical dance and music ‘season’ in New York. I was very happy present a solo Odissi recital for their inaugural year in 2013. This performance was particularly meaningful as it was my first solo performance in New York, which had been my home for many years before relocating to India in 2011. It was a beautiful experience to return to the city which gave me the courage to pursue my dream.
